🌍 Community Streets – Reconnecting LS6, One Street at a Time

Community Streets is a partnered initiative we proudly host here at Cardigan Community Centre in LS6, Leeds.

At the heart of the project is a simple but powerful belief:
strong communities create better, more sustainable environments for everyone.

The project works to:

Reconnect neighbours and residents across the LS6 area

Empower local people to take ownership of their streets and public spaces

Promote environmentally friendly habits and sustainable living

Build pride, connection, and a shared sense of community

Through events, workshops, local clean-ups, and community-led ideas, Community Streets brings people together to create positive change — right outside their front doors.

If you’re passionate about community life, the environment, or just want to make LS6 an even better place to live, this is a great project to get involved in.
